Join us for a “Perfect Dinner” with Michael Pollan the premier event in our Turning the Tables series.
This “Perfect Dinner” is a recreation of the dinner Michael writes about in The Omnivore’s Dilemma.
And as with all of our Turning the Tables events, a delicious meal will nurture dynamic discourse.
The main course for this event is the Farm Bill. Michael Pollan will outline how Farm Policy is having tremendous impact on our environment, the physical and financial health of not only farmers but of
anyone who eats food, and that is everyone. Michael will be joined by Kari Hamerschlag from the
California Coalition for Food and Farming, and Paula Jones, the Director of San Francisco Food
Systems. This series is hosted by Food From the Parks with the support of the Natural Resources
Defense Council (NRDC).
